zygig ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website or engage with our services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, company name, and any message content you send to us.
  • Usage information collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Cookies and similar technologies to help the Site function and to understand how visitors interact with it.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested information or services.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services.
  • Analyze usage trends and monitor Site performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. We take steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

9. ClearCheck (mobile app)

This section describes how ClearCheck, zygig's mobile app for iOS and Android (see the ClearCheck product page), handles data. It supplements, and for the app takes precedence over, the sections above.

9.1 There is no account

ClearCheck does not ask you to register, sign in, or provide a name, email address, or any other identifying information to use it. We do not maintain user accounts or profiles for ClearCheck.

9.2 Dose logs, label photos, and diagnostics stay on your device

Your medication lookups, dose log entries, Planned Flight entries, and any Drug Facts label photos you capture are stored only in ClearCheck's local, app-private database on your device. zygig operates no server that stores this data, and we cannot see it.

  • On iOS, if you have iCloud sync enabled in Settings, your dose logs and Planned Flight history sync to your other devices through your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit, container iCloud.com.zygig.clearcheck). That sync is between your devices, under your Apple ID — zygig never receives or has access to this data. If iCloud sync is off or unavailable, this data stays only on the one device.
  • On Android, there is no cloud sync of dose history. Dose logs, label photos, and PDF logbook exports stay in app-private storage on your device and are excluded from Android's automatic cloud backup.
  • A photograph you take of a Drug Facts label is kept for your own reference in the app; ClearCheck does not run text recognition on it or transmit it anywhere.

This data leaves your device only if you choose to export or share it yourself — for example, exporting your logbook as a PDF, or using your device's share sheet.

9.3 Diagnostics

ClearCheck keeps a local diagnostic log (e.g. which screen you were on, what action you took) to help troubleshoot problems. This log is capped in size, stays on your device, and is never sent to zygig automatically. If you use the in-app "send diagnostic report" option, a copy of that log is attached to an email you send yourself to support@zygig.com; we receive it only at that point, and only what you chose to send.

9.4 Camera and photo access

ClearCheck requests camera access to scan a medication's barcode and to photograph a Drug Facts label, and optionally photo-library access to use a label photo you already took. These images are processed and stored on your device only, as described in 9.2, and are not uploaded to zygig.

9.5 Notifications

ClearCheck can schedule local notifications on your device (for example, when a computed wait time ends). These are generated and delivered entirely on-device; no push-notification service or third party is involved, and no data about you is sent to trigger them.

9.6 Medication database sync

ClearCheck ships with a bundled, offline medication reference database. Optionally, from Settings → "Sync Now," the app can fetch an updated dataset from zygig's Cloudflare Worker at clearcheckapi.zygig.com to widen medication coverage. This request does not include your dose logs, photos, diagnostics, or any other data about you or your device beyond what's needed to make the network request (such as your IP address, which is typical of any internet connection and is not linked to any ClearCheck account, because none exists).

9.7 In-app purchase

ClearCheck's one-time purchase is processed entirely by Apple (App Store / StoreKit) or Google (Google Play / Play Billing). zygig does not receive or store your payment card details; see Apple's and Google's own privacy policies for how they handle purchase data, and the Terms of Use for the purchase terms.

9.8 No advertising or analytics, no sale of data

ClearCheck contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics or tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share ClearCheck user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes — there is none to share.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site or ClearCheck after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
